WEDDING VENUE

Coombe Farm is a bespoke, lakeside, wedding venue available for exclusive use in June, July, August and early September each year. It is set in beautiful Wealden Countryside, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Tenterden in Kent.

We celebrated our wedding on the farm and that gave us the idea to share that amazing experience to create a wedding venue where you can have a bespoke and exclusive wedding day, a very special and unique occasion, the best day of your life. We only host 6 weddings here in the Summer providing complete exclusivity for our couples. We offer a Marquee/Tipi style wedding event set in this field below with stunning views across the beautiful countryside and lakes up towards St. Mildreds Church in Tenterden. We can accommodate up to 120 people (day & evening) with parking for 60 cars in the adjacent field, from where on arrival, guests can meander through the fields to the Marquee to enjoy this picturesque and tranquil setting.

We have had approval from Kent County Council to legally marry couples at our venue on the application of a Licence for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships which means couples can be legally married outside by the Marquee or in our covered Lodge which is very exciting news. You can also have a Civil Ceremony held in a choice of 3 local churches and the Town Hall in Tenterden, our venue is 10 mins away by car for a Wedding Reception. Alternatively, you can already be legally married elsewhere and have a Celebrant led ceremony at your wedding reception with us. So, plenty of choice.

Our venue is available for exclusive use from June, July, August & early September 2025-2027 when our Fishery is closed – dates can be flexible. We will be supportive in helping you achieve your wedding goals we know just what input is required to make your wedding day unique to you and we work with a great team of suppliers to help create this for you. We offer a dry hire venue where you can create the wedding of your dreams from a blank canvas and we are always open to your suggestions.

We have many great places locally for your guests to stay, from hotels, pubs with rooms and Airbnbs.

We have prepared a list of frequently asked questions which you can access on the drop down on this heading and also the Professional Suppliers we work with to help cut down on planning time. We are happy to supply you with our Terms & Conditions. The cost of hiring Coombe Farm in 2025 is £5,000 plus a £500 refundable deposit for leaving the site as found. This includes exclusive use over 4 days and our romantic Shepherds Hut for your wedding night at no extra charge. Our Lodge is included too for your Wedding Day for bridal styling and where our couples can prepare in relaxed surroundings. We do not offer packages being a bespoke wedding venue so Marquee/Tipi, equipment hire and catering and everything else is charged separately to suit your personally picked choices, budget and sustainability.
